Standard features are incorporated in the design to support insect rearing such as an interior comprised of corrosion-resistant stainless steel that is easily removed without tools for routine cleaning or re-configuration. Insect Growth chambers come standard with phenolic coated coils, protecting interior components and contributing to a long operating life because most insect growth studies, such as the rearing of the fruit fly, create acide secretions. Insect growth chambers come in 10, 25 cu.ft. sizes to accommodate medium to high volume applications. They are designed to take up a minimal footprint, allowing the user to most efficiently take advantage of the laboratory floor or bench space. These chambers are carefully engineered to be energy efficient to help lower operating costs.
